CPEC Chairman Lt Gen (r) Asim Saleem Bajwa pointed out opportunities for improved connectivity under CPEC between Gwadar and the rest of the country. He said Gwadar is going to be linked to the rest of the country via a railway line, after completing Main Line-1 (ML-1), to take advantage of the benefits of CPEC. Asim Saleem Bajwa, Chairperson of CPEC Authority Lt Gen (retired), has expressed interest in the establishment by several companies in the Gwadar Free Zone, from the Gulf region.

He told Islamabad to D.I. about the motorway. At the meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee of the CPEC next month, Khan was close to completing the project from DI Khan to Zhob for approval.

He claimed that, in Azad Kashmir, the Government recently completed two hydroelectric energy projects, Azad Pattan (701 MW) and Kohala hydroelectric power project (1120 MW).
